Hey all, I'm Angela, and I'm a model. I'm from Missouri, originally, and I was discovered at the age of 14 at a fashion show in Kansas City. At first though, modelling wasn't really my thing, so I stopped...but at the age of 17 I realized that it was what I wanted to do! Looks like I've made the right choice - now I'm pretty well known!
I'm signed with the agencies IMG and Riccardo Gay, and I'm the one of the spokeswoman for various well known brands such as Calvin Klein, DKNY, Cover Girl, Missoni, Mui Mui, Victoria's Secret, Chanel, Gucci, Valentino, Tommy Hilfiger, Cerruti, Ralph Lauren, Chloe, Christian Dior, Donna Karan, Louis Vuitton, and Prada. I do alot of ads and campaigns, but I've done alot of runway work as well! I've also modelled on the covers of just about every single popular fashion magazine there is, including Vogue, Elle, W, Marie Claire, etc. I have also done a calender for Pirelli, in which I appeared nude alongside models such as Gisele Bundchen, Aurelie Claudel, and Rhea Durham.
I'm living in NYC right now with my dog, Lucky, and my fabulous husband William Edwards, who is a diver, and our beautiful baby boy, William Dakoka Edwards (obviously named after his father). He's going to be 3 next February! I'm only 25 but I've had so much success thus far - and I'm loving every minute of it!
Also, as well as modelling, I do alot of work with various charities and organizations. I'm one of the founders of the Collage Foundation, and I've worked with things such as The Sierra Club, VH-1's Save the Music, The Rainforest Association, The Global Renaissance Alliance, and The Leukemia Society of America. I'm also the spokesperson for The Heart Truth, a national awareness campaign on women's heart health.
The Collage Foundation works towards helping young adults understand the social and environmental problems in our world today. We show them how to recognize problems and to make their own decisions about how they can change things. Visit the website at www.collagefoundation.org!
